Marc L. Miller

Marc Miller teaches at the Pennsylvania State University, in the Department of Landscape Architecture. His research is grounded in the examination of landscape images such as paintings, renderings and animations and how they bring social and political issues to light. He is particularly interested in how people passively familiarize themselves with ideas about landscape and environmental impact through serial television.

Prior to teaching Marc worked as an urban designer, architectural lighting consultant, and architect. He worked on projects globally including retail and museums. In addition to his degree in Landscape Architecture, he has degrees in Architecture, Fine Arts and Art History.
